The Gio @5 console

Later this month, ETC is heading to Paris for the JTSE show. The company is teaming up with distributor Avab Transtechnik France to showcase some of its latest products. Visitors to stand numbers 138-139 /160-161, in the Dock Pullman building, will have the opportunity to check out some of the latest lighting solutions from ETC. Additionally, ETC products will take centre stage in Black Box number 7, in JTSE lighting in the Dock Eiffel building.

Stands 138-139-160-161

JTSE attendees will be the first in Europe to see the forthcoming Gio @5lighting control console that made its international debut at the LDI show in Las Vegas last month. The Gio @5 brings the high-end control of the larger Eos® familyconsoles to venues with smaller booths – or smaller budgets. This portable console packs all the control necessities into a compact footprint, so external monitors and accessories are optional. The console features the same full-function, backlit keyboard as the Eos Programming Wing and Gio®console, providing an easy transition for experienced Eos users looking for a smaller desk – and a good platform for new programmers looking to gain professional skills that scale up.

Other highlights from ETC include Cobalt®Programming and Motorized Fader Wings, ideal for programming on the fly, and increasing the versatility of your Cobalt family system with extra options for hands-on control. And EchoDIN, a standard work- and houselight solution that provides area lighting – for backstage, corridors, offices, shop displays, lobbies and more – with the same ease and quality of control as entertainment lighting systems.

ColorSource Consoles

Also, from the ColorSource family– the product range designed to bring a complete, high-quality LED lighting system with plug-and-play setup to venues with limited budgets – ETC will show the ColorSource and ColorSource AV consoles and ThruPowercontrol rack. ColorSource consoles provide excellent control of LED colour, moving lights, cues and effects. The AV version goes where no ETC console has gone before: it offers integrated audiovisual playback. The ColorSource ThruPower control rack is a solution for transitioning lighting systems between tungsten and LED. This is a simple, wall-mount rack that can meet all your power control needs as technology and your rig change over time.

Black Box number 7

The concept of JTSE lighting, which runs parallel to the JTSE show, is to give visitors a chance to test the best of lighting equipment in optimal conditions. ETC will use its dedicated space in Dock Eiffel to showcase several products including the Cobalt 20 control desk. There will also be the opportunity to appreciate the outstanding colour control capabilities of the latest Eos® family software – v2.5, slated for release in December – using an Eos Ti console, or try an ETCnomad together with an Eos Motorized Fader Wing. Available for demonstrations will be various ColorSource fixtures, including ColorSource® Spot, PAR and Linear, and a selection of Source Four® LED Series 2 luminaires, featuring ETC’s acclaimed x7 Color System.

At JTSE, you can meet with the Avab Transtechnik France team and a number of ETC representatives, including European rigging sales manager, Enrico Nobile, and the new field project coordinator for Southwest Europe, Philippe Roy. Visitors can receive demonstrations of all of the ETC products on display and ask any questions they may have, at both the stand and the Black Box.

JTSE 2016 will take place on November 29 & 30 at Les Docks de Paris. For free entry visit www.jtse.fr.
