ETC Marks 50 Years at PLASA 2025

ETC is gearing up for the PLASA Show at Olympia London from 7th–9th September, bringing new seminars and a showcase of its latest innovations — many of which were launched this year as part of ETC’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

As part of the commemoration, ETC will be celebrating its 50th anniversary at its new building in Greenford, London, following the second day of the PLASA Show. Attendees are encouraged to visit stand B29 during the show to learn more about the celebrations and ETC’s latest product offerings.

On the show floor, visitors to the ETC stand can explore a wide range of new technologies, including the recently launched F-Drive RX centralized LED driver system, the next-generation Hog consoles, and the latest ETC luminaires and automated fixtures.

The F-Drive RX offers a powerful, centralized approach to LED driver management, simplifying how architectural lighting systems are powered and maintained. Meanwhile, the new family of Hog consoles, including the Flex Hog and Tour Hog, deliver speed, precision, and creative freedom in a familiar, user-friendly platform.

Engineered for versatility, high output, and advanced color control, these fixtures are designed to perform across a wide range of venues and production environments. Visitors can explore all the latest features of these products first-hand at stand B29.

In addition to product demonstrations, ETC will host two informative seminars at the show:

  • Sunday 7th September at 11:45 AM – "The DNA of Lighting Control"
Held in the Lighting and Stage Theatre, this session will be hosted by Outreach and Training Specialist Declan Randall, alongside Senior Product Manager Sarah Clausen and Market Manager Luke Delwiche. The panel will explore how a deeper understanding of your console’s “DNA” can make you a better, more efficient programmer.
  • Monday 8th September at 11:15 AM – "Networking for Multi-Console Sessions"
Also in the Lighting and Stage Theatre, this technical seminar — led by Field Service Engineer Tom McGuire and Market Manager Rory Fraser-Mackenzie — will dive into best practices for optimizing networks for multi-console environments.
