“I’ve been on a Hog platform since I started 15 years ago on a Jands Hog 1000. I have used every platform until now with the Hog 4 series consoles. I own a Hog 4 Nano primarily for pre-programming but it has come out on a couple of tours as the main console or backup. I will hire worldwide depending on the scale. I most commonly use the Hog 4 plus a Playback Wing 4 with external DP8Ks. I am currently using a Full Boar and a Playback Wing 4 on a U.S. tour with Parkway Drive.

The features I use most are Replicate Fixture and Change Type. Going into festivals with a heavily pre-programmed show has never been this easy. Now with the Compound fixture explode function as well, it makes it even simpler to convert and make your show look correct across any fixtures or festival situations. I find it very quick to get around and make it do what I need. I can also get a Hog anywhere in the world, which is super important to me. My favorite thing about the consoles, though, are still the flash buttons and faders; any time I touch another desk I feel uncomfortable.”
