ETC to end Windows 7 Upgrade Program for legacy Eos Family hardware
Date Posted: 2/4/2021
ETC’s repair upgrade program for Windows XP-based Eos Family hardware will come to a close at the end of March, 2021. First instituted in 2014, the program provides
eligible Eos Family hardware with new internal components for increased reliability and performance. It also updates the hardware to the Windows 7-based operating system required to run Eos software versions 3.0 and above.
Customers who wish to take advantage of the upgrade program should contact their
local dealer, who can also advise pricing. Please note that qualifying
equipment must be received at an ETC repair facility by end-of-business on
March 31, 2021. If a customer is unsure if their equipment qualifies for the program, they may
contact Technical Services with their serial number.
Equipment received after the deadline will not be eligible for the Upgrade Program pricing, but if parts are still available, the upgrade may still be able to be completed. Customers interested in upgrading their legacy hardware should check with Technical
Services for availability and cost after the program expires.
