The inauguration of Zaryadye concert hall was a momentous occasion in Moscow, hosting several official representatives including the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. ETC Dealer, DOKA Center used lighting solutions by ETC to illuminate the historic event.
President Putin referred to the new concert hall as “the very core of our capital and a music center of the future”. As well as its prestigious standing, the hall is recognised as one of the most complex venues to implement technological equipment.
DOKA Center began working on the project in 2015. The task required specific lighting equipment and the latest technology to meet the goals in the set time frame.
Source Four PAR and
Selador Desire D60 luminaires were selected to be installed above the ceiling in the concert hall. This illuminated all areas of the auditorium and orchestra pit, without any distractions to the musical performance for the audience. ETC’s acclaimed
Eos lighting console desk was used for precise and powerful control over the LED colour system during the inauguration of the concert hall.
The power supply for fixed projectors was made via ETC’s
Sensor3 dimmer system using
ColorSource ThruPower circuits. A
Unison Paradigm system was also installed, providing powerful and flexible support to the lighting control needs of the opening ceremony.
Lighting Designer Damir Ismagilov, contributed to the stage lighting design of the concert hall and commented: “The incredible architectural space inside the hall has demonstrated just how lighting and technical equipment – particularly by ETC - is capable of transforming any event into a one-of-a-kind performance.”
