ETC conducted lighting workshop for HKAPA students

On October 23 , ETC held a workshop for students from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). They got the opportunity to experience ETC's newest equipment and to meet ETC CEO Fred Foster.

The workshop began with a tour of the ETC Asia office, followed by a product-history presentation by Foster and a series of product demos by ETC staff. The event also included ETC Asia's founder, Jimmy Cheung, who retired in 2009, as a special guest.

During the workshop, the students were divided into four groups to learn about different products: the Eos Ti® lighting desk , Cobalt® desk , Source Four® fixtures , Source Four LED luminaires , and dimming and networking devices. ETC engineers gave the students hands-on demonstrations of all of the equipment. 

"It was an honor to address the HKAPA students in ETC's new training facility in Hong Kong," says Foster. "The interest and energy that was shown by this group of talented people is a testament to the well-established programs at HKAPA. It was also an honor to have Jimmy return to visit the company he helped start almost twenty years ago."
