March 21, 2017 10:00 AM - March 23, 2017 5:00 AM Dubai World Trade Centre Sheikh Zayed Rd
United Arab Emirates

This year, visitors to CABSAT will have the opportunity to see something out of the ordinary from ETC. The company will present a unique blend of content tailored specifically for visitors to the event – the Middle East and Africa's largest broadcast digital media and satellite expo – taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, 21-23 March.

ETC Ecosystem – Stand D2-10

The ‘ETC Ecosystem’ will take centre stage in a devoted area within the booth of Oasis Enterprises (D2-10). This special configuration of ETC products has been designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of a complete lighting solution from ETC. The ecosystem will consist of Paradigm architectural control with wireless touchscreen; Sensor3 power distribution; Net3 Conductor error reporting and system configuration control; a Gio @5 lighting control console and a selection of LED fixtures.

There will be ample opportunity to examine the intricacies of the ecosystem and its potential for error reporting with email distribution and central configuration control. Furthermore, ETC representatives will be on hand to provide demonstrations of the products on display, including the recently launched Gio @5 lighting control desk, which brings the acclaimed, professional-grade control of the Eos Ti® and Gio® consoles within reach of users with tighter spaces – and tighter budgets.

ETC Light Lab – HATTA-H, Concourse -1

An attraction not to be missed is the ‘ETC Light Lab’. Together with Oasis Enterprises, ETC invites lighting managers, facility managers, lighting contractors and professionals to function room HATTA-H for networking opportunities, demonstrations and presentations featuring ETC products. Refreshments will also be available, giving visitors the chance to meet, eat and learn simultaneously.

Eat & Learn Session: ETC x7 Color System vs RGBA & RGBW

In this informative session, the team from ETC will compare and contrast RGBA, tungsten and ETC’s acclaimed x7 Color System. He will touch upon the science behind colour mixing, explaining why some LED fixtures are better than others, with the aid of a lighting rig incorporating ETC Source Four® LED Series 2 luminaires, controlled by a Gio @5 lighting desk.

Eat & Learn Session: Introducing the ColorSource family

The ColorSource family of products from ETC provides hands-on control, high-quality lighting, data distribution and power control in an approachable, plug-and-play format. Whether you’re lighting for broadcast, running a concert or events space, outfitting a theatrical production, or adding a splash of colour to your architectural installation, ColorSource products have something to offer. This session will explore the capabilities of the complete family and demonstrate how to make high quality shows on a budget with audio, video and lighting, all controlled from one desk: the ColorSource AV console.
