“I went with a Road Hog, a HedgeHog and 2 DP8000s. Even though we had a much bigger plane this time, the amount of equipment we needed to carry had grown exponentially, so space was still at a premium. I decided to buy the smaller desks myself. Having a Road Hog means I can always set up FOH by myself. Anything you can do to save time during a load in is always worth it. I don’t have to wait for local crew or fork lifts, etc. I bought the HedgeHog to take on the plane as hand luggage. The rest of the equipment has to go through customs and would never arrive at the venue until the show day. Taking a HedgeHog meant that I could go straight to the venue on arrival and take care of my patching and any programming I needed to do in the dark and quiet. I can’t tell you how impressed I was with the HOG.”
