Switch

Pharos Switch

The Pharos Switch provides a simple power and networking solution for four Power-over-Ethernet devices.

Simple networking

An unmanaged switch with five 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports with standard RJ45 sockets, perfect for connecting power and data between Designer Controllers and Designer Remote Devices. Four ports are enabled for Power-over-Ethernet with an uplink connection to a computer, network, or other non-PoE device. Switch comes in a cost-effective low-profile plastic DIN rail enclosure and only requires a 24V DC power supply.

Features

PoE Technology

Combine power and data in a single Ethernet cable using PoE (IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at) technology, making it easy to locate your Designer LPCs, TPSs, and RIOs where you need them.

Multiple Ports

Use four ports to power and connect multiple Designer controllers or remote devices (or other IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at compliant devices).

No Commissioning

The simple unmanaged switch can be deployed as required and operates out of the box, with no commissioning required.

Repeat

Pharos Switch

Pharos Repeat is a four-port DMX512 repeater/splitter compatible with the RDM standard to provide DMX output distribution to luminaires and other devices.

Optically isolated splitting

DMX splitters are an essential requirement for most control systems, allowing multiple separate cable runs from a single DMX output and ensuring electrical isolation. Repeat comes in a cost-effective, low-profile plastic DIN rail enclosure with install-friendly connectors.

Features

Four Outputs

Repeats a DMX signal to 4 outputs, each allowing for 32 DMX devices to be connected.

RDM

Supports the Remote Device Management protocol (ANSI E1.20), allowing devices connected to any of the four outputs to communicate back to a Pharos Designer controller over the DMX link.

Isolated

Opto-isolated input and isolated, self-healing output ports
