Alva Wong
General Manager of ETC Asia
Alva Wong is an accomplished engineer with over two decades of experience in the industry. He graduated from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic & Electrical). At the beginning of his career path, Wong worked at a broadcasting company and later developed his career in the lighting industry at Strand Lighting for several years. In 1999, he joined ETC Asia as an Electronic Engineer.
Over the years, Wong has taken on increasing levels of responsibility at ETC Asia. He was appointed the Manager of Projects Management in 2012 and later became the General Manager in 2024. Under his leadership, the Customer Service Department and Pricing & Quotation Department were set up under the Projects Management Department in 2015 and 2017, respectively.
Wong has been crucial in handling high-profile projects across the Asia Pacific region, including Marina Bay Sands Singapore and West Kowloon Cultural District – Xiqu Centre. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in the success of these
projects.
