Preworks added as an ETC dealer for Austria

ETC has appointed Preworks as a dealer for its complete product portfolio – including lighting control consoles, fixtures and lighting systems – in Austria. "As Preworks has been successfully marketing High End Systems products since 2007, working with ETC is a logical progression,” says Andreas Reinbacher, CEO of Preworks. “With this extended range of products, we can now optimally meet all the market requirements. We look forward to a positive and fruitful partnership.”

Andreas Reinbacher founded Preworks in St Stefan ob Stainz, Austria, in September 2006. The company established itself as a visualisation and pre-programming studio, and a specialist training centre for lighting control consoles. A year later, it became a distributor of professional lighting systems – including the products of the US-based moving light and lighting controls manufacturer High End Systems, now part of ETC. Preworks has since expanded further, with a relocation to a larger facility in Stainz in 2012, and the launch of a German branch near Frankfurt am Main in 2016.

Today, the Preworks team comprises around ten employees, led by Reinbacher. The company has been instrumental in several high-profile projects, including the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards, the 2017 Andreas Gabalier concert at the Munich Olympic Stadium, and the flagship of AIDA cruises, the AIDAprima cruise ship.
