CUE 2018
ETC is heading to the Netherlands
for the biennial CUE exhibition, taking place at Rotterdam Ahoy, 15-17 January.
The
new ColorSource® CYC luminaire, the recently
launched Ion® Xe lighting control console, and products
from ETC’s successful rigging portfolio will be making their Benelux debut at
the event. Visitors can expect a warm welcome from ETC, who will be offering
product demos, hospitality and giveaways on stand 101.
Fresh from its award-winning debut
at the LDI Show in Las Vegas, ColorSource CYC will take centre stage on ETC’s
booth at CUE. This purpose-built cyclorama light is bright, compact and
affordable. It’s also the first ColorSource fixture to add a fifth colour to
its LED array, incorporating indigo with the RGB-L mix to achieve rich, theatrical hues. The CYC
will be joining fellow family members at the show, including ColorSource Spot
and PAR fixtures; ColorSource control desks; and the ColorSource Relay power control solution.
With compact footprints and
full-featured Eos software, the new Ion Xe and Ion Xe
20 consoles bring acclaimed programming power to smaller venues. Since the new
consoles feature the same backlit keyboard layout as their larger Eos family
siblings, workflow can transfer seamlessly from desk to desk. Accompanying the
consoles are the new Eos Fader Wings which provide 20 or 40 standard faders in
handy, USB-connectable modules that match – and are compatible with – all the
latest Eos family hardware.
ETC
Rigging’s intuitive line of controllers give users standard operational and
safety feedback features not often found in other rigging controllers, such as
multiple hardwired E-stops, load profiling, slack line detection, and
hold-to-run controls. QuickTouch+® controllers easily integrate with both variable- and
fixed-speed motors, and offer several remote-control options for increased
safety and control. With Prodigy P2, the convenience, flexibility and safety of automated hoists are no
longer out of reach due to a limited budget. The CE Marked P2 features
dynamically self-sustaining gearbox technology, and can be used with ETC’s
revolutionary Compression Tube technology, or traditional rigging styles.
In addition to these product premieres, highlights
will include Source Four® LED Series 2 luminaires, featuring ETC’s acclaimed x7 Color System; the
Gio® @5 lighting
control console; and the Paradigm® architectural control system. Guests will also have a chance to meet
the newest member of the Northern European team, Field Project Coordinator,
Sharon Huizinga. And, ETC will be holding a special daily draw for a chance to
win a Source Four LED Mini fixture.
