Cobalt

At the PALM EXPO China 2014 tradeshow, May 26th to 29th, at the New China International Centre in Beijing, many new ETC products will make their Chinese debut. Visitors to ETC's stand, #E1A55, can get demonstrations of the Cobalt® control family, Source Four LED CYC™ adapter, Source Four Mini™ spotlight, Selador® Desire® D22 LED luminaire and much more.

Cobalt

Headlining ETC's stand at the PALM EXPO tradeshow will be the new Cobalt lighting control system. Designed for fast-paced, on-the-fly programming, the Cobalt family uses a short command style with touchscreen-based, direct-access tools. With two footprints - the powerful Cobalt 20 desk with 20 motorized faders, and the compact, tour-ready Cobalt 10 - and the PC-based ETCnomad, the Cobalt control family has the right tools to turn thoughts into light.

Source Four LED CYC

Also on display will be ETC's Source Four LED CYC, an adapter that attaches to any Source Four LED™ , turning it into a superior tool to light cycloramas. The Source Four LED CYC taps into the power of the x7 Color System™ to produce an extraordinary range of bold and subtle colors. It provides seamless coverage with incredibly smooth dimming for any backdrop. And it makes lighting inventories go further. When a cyclorama is not included in a design, the CYC adapter can be replaced with a traditional lens barrel, and the Source Four LED can then be used for other lighting tasks.

Source Four Mini

ETC will also show the tiniest member of the Source Four® fixture family, the Source Four Mini. At only 23 centimeters (nine inches) long and weighing just 0.67 kilograms (1.5 pounds), it is one-third the size of a traditional Source Four. Despite its size, the 50-watt Source Four Mini has the brilliant optics, crisp pattern projection, brightness, even field and user-friendly operation of traditional Source Four fixtures. The compact Source Four Mini is tailor-made for small venues, such as museums, light labs, theaters, restaurants, and other venues that have limited space but still want high-quality light.

Selador Desire D22

PALM EXPO attendees will also see the Selador Desire D22, a low-profile and budget-friendly LED luminaire that fits small installations like school auditoriums, lobbies and retail outlets. The 20-centimeter (eight-inch), three-kilogram (seven-pound) D22 makes a big impact, thanks to the x7 Color System, which combines up to seven LED colors to generate fuller, more spectrally balanced light. It comes in four arrays: Studio Daylight for cool whites, Studio Tungsten for warm whites, Studio HD for white light with variable color temperatures, and the flexible Lustr+™ for adjustable whites, soft pastels and vibrant saturated colors.
