Vice President of European Operations
Darren Beckley’s career in the lighting industry has been shaped by a lifelong connection to the performing arts, influenced from an early age by his father’s work as a theatre manager.
After completing his vocational qualifications in 2001, Beckley began his career in entertainment lighting with Stage Electrics’ rental division in Bristol, England, gaining valuable technical production experience before progressing to lead the company’s international business operations and domestic Project Sales Division.
In 2016, Beckley joined ETC as Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East and India, where he successfully expanded ETC’s presence across some of the industry’s fastest-growing markets. Eighteen months later, he was appointed Sales Manager for ETC Ltd., leading the sales team across Europe, the Middle East and India. In this role, he drove significant market growth, strengthened ETC Ltd.'s international sales team, and played a key role in expanding the company's presence in the Middle East, including the establishment of ETC's Studio in Dubai.
In 2026, Beckley was appointed Vice President of European Operations. In this role, he oversees business activities across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa, working closely with regional teams to harness the expertise within ETC's European offices, continue driving growth, and deliver an even stronger level of service and support to customers across the territories.
