About Magic Sheets
Magic sheets are user-created interactive displays that allow you to customize how you interact with and view your show data and lighting system. A variety of objects can be tied to show data, such as channels, palettes, and other record targets, and added to a custom layout with additional graphics and icons.
Accessing Magic Sheets
Magic Sheet [Tab 3]
The magic sheet tab can be opened by selecting {Magic Sheet} in the Workspace Layout Menu > Displays or using [Tab] [3].
By default, the tab opens to the magic sheet browser. If no magic sheets exist in the show file, the browser will be empty. Use the {New Magic Sheet} option to create the lowest new magic sheet number available. Created magic sheets are available via the browser alongside all other magic sheets in the show file.
When a magic sheet is open, a pop-up magic sheet browser can be accessed from the Magic Sheet Tab Configuration menu, or using Multi-Touch Gestures.
Use [Displays] {Magic Sheet} [#] [Enter] to recall a specific magic sheet by number.
Magic Sheet List [Tab 14]
The magic sheet list displays a list of all created magic sheets, their labels, and how many links to views have been saved for each magic sheet. Views can be saved via the Magic Sheet Tab Configuration menu.
The magic sheet list can be opened by double pressing {Magic Sheet}, pressing [Tab] [1] [4], navigating within the browser to Displays > Record Targets > Magic Sheet and pressing [Select] , or using ALT+MM on an external keyboard.
To label a magic sheet, use the syntax {Magic Sheet} [#] [Label] <name> [Enter].
Pressing [Label], when a label has already been applied to a magic sheet, will display the label on the command line for editing. Pressing [Label] a second time will clear the label, or you can press [Clear] to remove the label one character at a time.
Magic Sheet Direct Selects
Magic sheets can also be accessed using Direct Selects [Tab 4]. Using a direct select assigned to a magic sheet will open the magic sheet tab and display the selected magic sheet. Pressing a different magic sheet direct select will change the sheet open in the tab.
Magic sheets can be assigned Icons, which can be configured to appear on the direct select button in Direct Selects ([Tab] [4]) or Custom Direct Selects ([Tab] [3][9]).
