Processors
This display provides configuration options for Eos Expansion Processing device profiles.
Devices that are able to act as an Expansion Processor (EEP) can be added to a multi-console session from this screen and assigned output universes. Expansion Processor device profiles can also be created directly and assigned to a hardware device later.
{Expansion Processing}
Enables or disables Eos Expansion Processing. Disabled by default.
{Exceed 75k Output}
Allows Apex hardware to output up to 153,600 addresses (300 universes) from a single multi-console session. All Eos Family devices have distinct Expansion Processing Session Capacities.
Default Processor for New Universes
Indicates which processor or device will be assigned new output universes added to the show file.
Select the box to choose a default from the dropdown list of available processors and devices.

Available online devices will appear in the dropdown menu.
- {Add Processor} - adds the processor selected in the dropdown menu to the show file.
- {Auto Assign Universes} - automatically distributes output universes between available processor profiles.
Once processors are added, a device profile is saved within your show file.
Processor profiles can also be created first by typing an unused profile number, then [Enter]. Profiles may be assigned to different hardware from the Expansion Processing User Interface via {Setup} > {Device} > Bind to Device Profile.
