  • ColorSource Console Boot Pattern

The ColorSource Console has specific boot-up patterns that are displaying via the RGB LED indicators in the fader and 6 main bump buttons. They can be used to keep track of which step along in the booting process you are in.

Normal Boot - LEDs run Left to Right >>>:

    1. Cyan (Bootloader)
    2. Magenta (OS starting)
    3. Yellow (Services, brief)
    4. White (Starting application)
    5. Chase stops, fader LEDs go white (Start Screen)

    No chase/all black:

    • Coprocessor is being reprogrammed.
    • Leave for at least 10 minutes to see if it works.

    Dark Blue:

    • Could not start OS, services or application.
    • Attempt to reload firmware using USB recovery.

Test Application Boot - LEDs run Right to Left <<<:

    1. Cyan (Bootloader)
    2. Magenta (OS starting)
    3. Yellow (Services, brief)
    4. White (Starting application)
    5. Chase stops, all go off (Test Application Running)

    After the console is running:
LED Chase in Yellow, Left to Right.

    • Console is about to reboot.
    • May be seen after firmware update (must reboot to complete installation), or after a software crash.
    • If this is seen during normal operation then it was probably a software crash, please get log files.
