General Configuration

The General Configuration page determines the user experience within the EchoAccess App when connected to the selected interface, either Access BT Interface or Expansion Bridge.

Control Features

Control Features set the visibility of controls within the EchoAccess App including Allow Zone Control, Space Level Control, Sequence Control, Lockout Control, TimeClock Hold Control, Space Combine Control, Preset Record Control, and Demand Response.

Security

Security has controls for Control Security and Configuration Security.

CAUTION: If you forget your passwords, you will not be able to change the control or configuration settings of your Access BT Interface or Expansion Bridge. Contact ETC Technical Support for help if you forget your passwords.

When a Security switch is set to On, a password entry field appears.

  • ClosedControl Security

    When set to On, Control Security restricts access to an Access BT Interface or Expansion Bridge. When you attempt to connect to an interface, a password screen appears. Select [Save Password] to store the password in the EchoAccess App.

  • ClosedConfiguration Security

    When set to On, Configuration Security restricts access to device configuration on an Access BT Interface or Expansion Bridge. When you choose Configuration from the Main Menu, a password screen appears.

Allowed Spaces

Allowed Spaces can be set to Allow or Disallow configuration of each individual Space from the selected interface. By default, all 16 Spaces are enabled (set to Allow).

Note: Spaces that are set to Disallow for the selected interface will not display in the EchoAccess App.

The dots at the bottom of the screen indicate additional pages of configuration for the selected interface. Swipe left or right to access the Space Configuration page.

Configuration Sharing

Four buttons are available at the bottom of the configuration screen.

Note: Share is only available in the EchoAccess Mobile App.
