Import Fonts

Import custom fonts for use in LightDesigner configurations, specifically in support of a ControlDesigner touchscreen configurations and themes that utilizes the font.

Note: When a font is not installed for use in LightDesigner configurations, but has been used inside a ControlDesigner touchscreen configuration or theme, a temporary font will be used. See Temporary Font Usage.

Where the imported font is stored (accessed) in the LightDesigner application depends on how the application was installed. During software installation, you would have confirmed if the installation is for all user's or for the current user only.

If installed for the current user only, a Paradigm folder is created in the Documents directory.
If installed for all users, a Shared Paradigm Files folder is created in the Public Documents directory.

Once a font is imported, it will be available to all ControlDesigner touchscreen configurations as well as all LightDesigner configurations depending on the installation type.
