Saratov training event is a resounding success
From May 15 – 18, 2018, ETC hosted a series of training courses in Saratov, Russia, including hands-on Eos and Cobalt family console training sessions, and networking for lighting technicians.
The training sessions were attended by visitors not only from Saratov but also nearby cities Balashov and Engels, with all sessions being fully booked well in advance.
The first day was held in the conference area ‘City Hall’ where owners and fans of Eos consoles gathered. Trainer Tatiana Chumicheva greeted the group and shared the fundamental basics of working with the Eos family of consoles.
The second and third day were devoted to the Cobalt family of consoles. Together with trainers Maxim Shlykovym and Eugene Black, participants explored the basics of working with the consoles, and how to program conventional and moving lights, create dynamic effects, and work with groups.
Attendees were also offered a networking for lighting technicians course, which took place on May 18. ETC networking trainer Dmitry Dragunov led this session and helped attendees to understand various technical terms, including IP addressing, sACN, Art-Net and RDM.
Further ETC training courses will be held in September in St. Petersburg, and new dates for training in Moscow this year will be published soon.
