Student Session

When: Friday, March 10th, 5:45pm
Where: ETC booths 114, 214 and 314
Who: Students interested in lighting and rigging

If you’re a student, you can get a peek behind the ETC curtain and talk to our team, ask questions, learn about employment opportunities with us, and – of course – win some sweet prizes. Visit our tradeshow booths during show hours to pick up your VIP pass. It’s your only access to hang out after the show floor closes.

ColorSource AV training

Friday, March 10th
10:00-11:30am or 2:00-3:30pm

Are you curious about the ABCs of the ColorSource AV console? Attend this training, led by ETC product manager Sarah Clausen, to find out how you can control lighting, sound and AV cues from a single device. This 90-minute session will show you the ins and outs of the ColorSource AV desk, and how to patch and control conventionals, LEDs and moving lights using the desk’s intuitive touchscreen interface. You’ll also get familiar with the ColorSource AV’s innovative audio and visual functionality: how to create and play back audio cues, to project images and create dynamic visual effects.

CUESystem training

Friday, March 10th
12:00-1:30pm or 4:00-5:30pm

With the CueSystem, you’ll never miss an entrance! Stage-management professionals worked with ETC and GDS to solve the problem of not having a simple and reliable cue-light system on the market, resulting in the flexible CueSystem. Join GDS product specialist Chris Patton for this session, where you can take a close-up look at CueSystem’s hardware and experience how easy it is to use it as a simple, networkable cue-light tool for small, one-night shows. You’ll also see how you can take advantage of its advanced programming features that are capable of controlling even the largest Broadway productions.
