Installation

The Paradigm bundle installer file includes LightDesigner, ControlDesigner, and other Paradigm suite peripheral support software. Launch the Paradigm installer executable file and follow the setup wizard to complete the installation.

General Tips

Make certain your computer meets the LightDesigner Computer Requirements.
During installation, the installer may need to install other programs, files, or utilities before it is able to run. You will be prompted if additional action by you is required.
During installation, you will be prompted to confirm if the installation should be made for "All User's" or for the "Current User Only".
- If installing for the current user only, a Paradigm folder is created in the Documents directory.
- If installed for all users, a Shared Paradigm Files folder is created in the Public Documents directory.

Note: Several sub-directories will be created for individual types of files within the My Documents or Public Documents directory including LightDesigner Configurations, LightDesigner Resources\Background Images, Touchscreen Configurations, Touchscreen Resources\Fonts, and Touchscreen Resources\Themes.

When installing a program or utility, it is recommended to close or disable any other programs that are running.
