Find and Replace
The Find and Replace tools are located in spreadsheet views.
Click the [Open find and replace controls]
button in the upper right corner of a spreadsheet's tab. The Find and Replace fields and tools are shown.
Find
- In the Find text field, type the text for which you want to search. You can include * (asterisk) and ? (question mark) wildcards in your search criteria.
- Use * to match part of a string. For example, "Zone*" will find all channels that include "Zone" in their names regardless of the text that follows "Zone".
- Use ? to match a single character. For example, "s?t" will find "sit," "sat," and "set."
- Press (Enter) to find the first instance of your search text in the spreadsheet, or click the [Find previous occurrence] or [Find next occurrence]
buttons. (Keyboard shortcuts for [Find next occurrence] are (F3) or (Ctrl) + (G)).
- To edit the contents of the cell, click in the cell and press (Enter) or double-click in the cell.
Replace
- In the Find text field, type the text that you want to find and replace.
- In the Replace with field, type the replacement text.
- Choose one of the following:

Click the Replace a single occurrence
button to locate the first (and subsequent) occurrence of your search text and replace it with the replacement text. You can also use keyboard shortcut (Ctrl) + (H).

Click the [Find previous occurrence] or [Find next occurrence]
buttons to locate an instance of the search text that you want to replace, and click the Replace a single occurrence
button to replace the text. (Keyboard shortcuts for [Find next occurrence] are (F3) or (Ctrl) + (G)).
