Save Your Configuration

GCE only saves configuration information from the "Device Configurations" table.

1. Create and Edit your gateway configuration using any one of the many methods provided to you in GCE including:
   1. Dragging and dropping a device from the "Online Devices" table into the "Device Configurations" table.
   2. Inserting a new device from either the tools in the Main Menu or from the tools provided in context menus.
   3. Edit your devicepatch and device configuration from the (Edit) menu, selecting from the tools provided in the devices context menu.
   4. Reference also Configuring DMX Gateways, Configuring Show Control Gateways, Configuring I/O Gateways, Configuring RFR Base Stations.
      
2. When all devices for your configuration are displayed in the "Device Configuration" table, select "Save" (keyboard shortcut (Ctrl) + (S) or "Save As..." from the (File) menu. The "Save" dialog displays for File name: specification.

3. Provide a configuration filename and click [Save].
