ETC Knowledge Management System (KMS)

Maintained by ETC's excellent Technical Services team, the KMS provides a wealth of explanatory and troubleshooting resources for current and legacy ETC, High End, and RAYN products.

Eos Family Community Forums
You are encouraged to visit and participate in the Eos Family Community Forums. This gives you access to an online community of Eos Family users where you can read about other users’ experiences, suggestions, and questions regarding the product as well as submit your own.
You may register for the forum by clicking the Join link in the upper right corner of the page and following the provided registration instructions.

Registering your console with ETC ensures that you will be notified of software and library updates, as well as any product advisories.
Registering your console requires an ETC One account. Log in or sign up at etcconnect.com/MyETC/.

If you have questions that are not answered by this document, try the ETC support website at support.etcconnect.com or the main ETC website at etcconnect.com. If none of these resources are sufficient, visit etcconnect.com/contactETC and contact ETC Technical Services. Emergency service is available from all ETC offices outside of normal business hours.
When calling for help, take these steps first:
- Prepare a detailed description of the problem
- Go near the equipment for troubleshooting
- Find your notification number if you have called in previously

Key Help
Press [Help] to open the Eos key help in the Central Information Area (CIA). Holding [Help] and pressing any hard or softkey will display:
- The name of the key.
- A description of what the key's function.
- Syntax examples for using the key (if applicable).
- Links to topics in the manual.
Element Prompts
Element 2 and Element Classic provide additional onscreen prompts in the CIA help area to aid with programming. These prompts dynamically change with the current display or key input to give context-sensitive instructions and options. The prompts can be enabled or disabled via Setup > User > Displays > {Display Help Prompts}.
