Introduction to the Ion Lighting
Console
ETC’s
Ion lighting control desks provide simple and approachable control for
integrated lighting rigs. This class will teach you the basics and nuances of
this high-level control system, utilising ETC’s innovative training theatre in
West London.
Day one: Ion Essentials
You’ll learn
about Ion’s major functions and how to navigate the desks with ease. You will
learn to program conventional lights, and to create cues whilst working with
groups and submasters.
Day two: Ion Practical
Having
learned the basics of programming on day one, day two will give you the
opportunity to put this training to use. You will learn to control intelligent
fixtures, and will write a series of cues utilizing palettes, groups and
effects "on the fly" to ensure you are prepared for your next
production.
