ETC participated in a series of events in Moscow in September that drew big crowds.

On Wednesday, September 9th, Global Show Trade (GST) hosted an ETC product demonstration and training in its new showroom in Moscow. ETC field project coordinator Florian Maier, with help from GST's Yulya Pleshan and Alexander Romanov, presented Source Four® LED Series 2 and ColorSource® PAR and Spot luminaires, along with a Cobalt® 10 lighting-control console. The event was attended by lighting designers and operators from throughout Russia and the CIS, who were able to ask questions directly to ETC staff. Everyone then enjoyed a barbecue together after the presentation.

GST opened the showroom in April, to give local lighting professionals a place to go to try out stage technology and compare products from different manufacturers side by side. ETC equipment will remain on display at the showroom, so anyone can drop by and experiment with the gear. "The GST showroom provides a convenient way for people to experience the industry's top brands," says Maier. "They can sit down with a product and see how it works in a real-life situation. The showroom is also a great place for training, and ETC is planning to hold more events there in the future."

Imlight, one of ETC's official dealers, hosted the Pro Sound Light 2015 forum at the Lyudmila Ryumina cultural center from September 9th through 11th. Lighting and sound professionals gathered to learn about new technology and take master classes led by industry leaders. On September 10th, Imlight's brand manager for ETC, Konstantin Khristoliubov, gave a presentation of the latest ETC products. He talked about ETC LED fixtures, including the Source Four LED Series 2 and Color Source families, and control products, such as the new Cobalt and Eos® Programming Wings . The Pro Sound Light forum also had an exhibition set up for attendees to get demonstrations of products. The ETC booth had Gio® and Cobalt lighting-control consoles, Selador® Classic™ and Desire® LED luminaires , and Source Four fixtures on display, with product experts on hand to give demonstrations.

Judgment at Nuremburg, Prolight + Sound Russia

Official ETC dealer DOKA Center displayed ETC products on its stand at the Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia 2015 tradeshow, September 10th through 12th, in Moscow. Attendees were able to see the Source Four LED Series 2 Lustr luminaire up close and get a demonstration of its features.

Also at the Prolight + Sound tradeshow, models of the graduation projects done by Moscow State Academic Theater (MXAT) alumni were on display. The display included lighting designer and MXAT graduate Andrei Abramov's model of the stage design that lighting designer Stanislav Benediktov did for the play Judgment at Nuremburg. Abramov used 48 RGB LED lights to illuminate the display, which were controlled by an ETCnomad™ mini-controller running on a PC.
