ETC corporate philanthropy guidelines assure that the administration of philanthropic gifts of cash or equipment is managed in an even-handed and organized way in accordance with the vision of giving by the ETC Board of Directors.
ETC's Five Focus Areas for Corporate Giving
Applicants for cash and/or equipment grants from ETC must ensure that their organization falls within one of the following five focus areas:
Performing Arts: including educational, community-based or professional groups.
Performing Arts Education and Welfare: furthering the education, recognition or welfare of performance professionals or students.
Community Betterment: providing means for the betterment or benefit of communities through social, environmental, or any other applicable service.
Wizard Development: support for the education or development of future leaders in technology.
Employee-driven Interests: ETC’s employees may request minor grants to non-profit groups to which they have a specific connection. In addition, ETC will support, as possible, requests by its employees to raise funds for local, national, or international disaster relief
or crisis humanitarian aid.
To apply for funding and/or an equipment grant, the applicant must be one of the following:
Meeting qualification and submitting an application does not guarantee a grant award. The Corporate Giving Office typically receives more applications than funding is available. As a result, it may be necessary to decline well qualified and worthy organizations based on available funding during any given cycle.
