Question:

Why does Unison CMd or CMED play a backup look at boot when I have no backup looks recorded, and how do I stop it?

Answer:

In some cases, the first time a CMd or CMEd processor is powered up, a rogue backup look will play at boot. It will not display as recorded or playing but the processor will state "BACKUP ACTIVE" on reset.

To solve this:

  1. Press hidden button over the Unison logo to activate the configuration menu
  2. Arrow down to [BACKUP], press [Enter]
  3. Stop the current rogue Backup look
  4. Record a new Backup Look
  5. Play the new Backup Look
  6. Stop the new Backup look
  7. Erase the new Backup Look
