Question

Why does one of the USB ports on the front of the Dell Emphasis Server not work?

Answer

The USB port that is closest to the inside of the server inside the door on the front is used internally by the dongle that enables the software.  If something is plugged into that port, transmission of EDMX may stop. In addition, while Emphasis tries to load, an error message may warn you that your dongle could not be found.

There are 3 other USB ports on the machine that all work--please use these instead of the one reserved for the dongle's internal use.
