What is the difference between Insight 3 consoles (PN 4171A1001) and Insight with Emphasis face panels (PN 4271A100X)?
Answer
The console leaves the Factory with Emphasis facepanel code when it is shipping as part of an Emphasis system (an enduser can change this in the field with the software that ships with the console), there is also an additional DMX port which will allow the console to output 4 full universes of DMX. Other than those changes, and some aesthetic changes, such as paint, the consoles are identical in functionality.
