Question:

How many Source Four Fixtures can I place into a Dimmer Doubler - Multiplexer?

Answer:

You can place a total of 2 - 550W, 77VAC lamps on a dimmer doubler, one on each side.

"You can also place 2 dimmer doublers into a 20A dimmer with a 550W, 77VAC lamp on each output."

?  So a two-fer, with a Dimmer Doubler on each leg? Why?  Two-fers cost less than Dimmer  Doublers.

This is not quite correct and will be fixed soon.  You cannot place two DD lamps into one half of a Dimmer Doubler as it is not rated for that amount of current.  Only one DD lamp per side of a Dimmer Doubler is correct.  Of course, if you two outlets in your circuit strip both tied to the same dimmer, you need no twofers and two Dimmer Doublers.
