On the back of a CMEi there are 5 Ethernet LED's.Reading from left to right rear of unit facing you:

LED	Color	Function
1	Green	RX
2	Red	TX
3	Green	Link Status (should be solid on if connected to network)
4	Yellow	Collision error
5	Red	ETCLink error
