I do not presume to assume that I know enough about the ML to be considered an expert, but there are several things i would like to see as possible improvements to smartsoft for Smartfade ML..
1) an on off switch/button the software tabs area? (button that of course will not be avilable on the actual ML console).. that will graphically drop the virtual faders to 0 on the console when done with Int A or B, device, after adding to a MEM bump. This will speed things up when recording MEM's blind/ training mode.
2) an on off toggle option in the software that will graphically move/raise the faders on the virtual console to the levels recorded in a MEM when crossfade or stack step is activated for training purposes so a "visual" clue is given to a trainee on faders settings that were used in addition to live or playback graphs in the virtual console.
