Hi all -
We have had a lot of questions on this lately, so I'd just like to clarify a new behavior of the remote controls in Congo v5. In previous versions, remote controls fed directly into the Live/A field along with the commands from the main keypad, causing conflicts if you had an electrician working with the remote at the same time as a main operator was working on the console.
In Congo v5, we placed remote controls into their own field, meaning the remote levels are not in Live. You can see high level contributions from the remotes, but from the console you cannot clear those levels by just selecting them and bringing them down. There is a new command in the Browser that will allow the main operator to clear the levels generated by the remote (and this command will become a softkey soon).
To clear out levels left on by a remote, please use the following command:
Browser > Channels > Settings and Tools > Remote Controls > Clear Remote Fields (press MODIFY on this item)
