  • Seeking a synopsis for Ion

    By way of background, I am one of those customers who moved to Ion from an Express 125. I expect there are, or will be, a lot of us making this leap over the next few years. I like the Ion, and I really like what it is going to make it possible for my community theatre to do as our lighting inventory...

    We can get you permission to print the manual if you need it. But first, look inside the front cover (bottom of the second page)... " ETC permits the reproduction of materials in this manual only for non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved by ETC. " This was put there to help resolve this...

    Hey all... This thread actually caused us to add a new forum to the group. "Documentation and Training" now has its own forum and "Documentation" under that. I've moved (and quoted) this thread there and hope to continue the discussion over there. Thanks -Steve

    I have to tell you... this has sparked the conversation again here at ETC. While I don't know exactly what's possible yet, I have found a few leads out there on how to make this go easier. That brings me to the next question... What smaller/shorter/simpler document would like us to try this out on? ...

    Hi Eugene... Yes, it's possible and we've even thought about that kind of thing a bit. Perhaps we just don't know enough about how to get there from where we are now, as it seems like it would be a huge undertaking. We currently author in FrameMaker as that gives the best ability to generate large complex...
