GCE & Net3 DMX node config question

Hey All,

I've looked thru all of the tutorials and videos, but I think I may be out of luck.

I want to configure the outputs of a DMX node to output partial universes, or span between universes.  I can do it with the NCE and Net2 DMX nodes, but can't seem to figure it out with the new gear.

From what I've seen, it's not even possible.

Any light you can shed on this would be appreciated.

Ron, If you're using GCE 2.0.0 or above, try hovering your mouse over a "universe" field in one of the tables for a couple of seconds.  You should end up with a lengthy tooltip that describes the notation for flexible output patch.  Note that this is only available on more recent net3 2 & 4 port gateway firmware versions (v3.0.0+) -- older firmware does not support this feature.

In brief though:

• 1/257 to output 512 DMX addresses starting with the level from sACN universe 1, address 257 as DMX address 1 on the cable.
• 1/257:48 to output 48 DMX addresses starting with 1/257 and running through 1/304.
