Hello All,

I have some new Apollo Smart Color 7.25 units with there pre-built theatre strings in them.  I would like to be able to edit the stock profile in our EOS to reflect the string that is living in them.

I guess then once I get that done, I'll patch them to my S4 pars as a 2part channel, THEN save each frame as a color palette on a direct select.

My hope is to be able to do "Channel 30 thru 35 at full, color palette blue".

Any guidance here would be *greatly* appreciated!!

Thanks,

Pat,

I believe you'll find what you're looking for in Patch/Attributes after you've patched them, but I'm probably wrong.

Fingers crossed, B

So what I think you are saying is that I patch the PARS and scrollers as a two part channel, then go in and adjust the profile?  I don't have to do it for each scroller/fixture?  Do I?

Thanks B!

I think I was able to adjust the default Apollo profile and create a two part channel with the fixture and the scroller.  When I activate the channel and select the color encoders, can I make it so the colors just show up in little icon form?  I got it to happen once, but haven't been able to get it again.  Also, the two part channel fixture/scroller combo shows up in the live table as like an extended tombstone.  Can I set something so they appear as the smaller, more compact tombstone?

Thanks,

Pat

Pat,

I don't believe you'll need to mess with the profile at all.  Once you have your 2 part scroller channels patched, go back to the Patch display.  Select  all of those channels at once.  Now click on Attributes.  Here you will be able to build your custom gel strings by selecting specific gels per frame.  Once you have built these and applied them to your channels, the gel numbers and icon will appear on the encoder screen.  I think that if you have the tombstone expanded to include Color info, then the gel number will appear there as well.  However, I believe that by default, the collapsed tombstone for compound channels is a little larger to distinguish them from regular channels.

Hope this helps, B
