So I have a 21" widescreen monitor for use with my Element, and I was wondering if it is possible to make the image fill up the whole screen. Right now it is only on part of the screen. It's connected with DVI.

You can change the resolution of the monitors through the Settings button from the Element Shell. (Exit Element from the browser, and you'll see the Settings button.) From General settings, click on External Monitor Arrangement. Click on the Advanced button, and for each monitor you can see all supported resolutions of the monitor. Pick the one which fits the native resolution, hit Apply, then Yes, and you should be all set.
