We're in the middle of the first day of tech and my ME is experiencing the most annoying lag on the ION. There are times when the board takes many seconds to respond to a key press. Has anyone been able to diagnose this and fix it? We're running 1.4.5, single 2x10 fader wing, two universes, nothing too huge. This is a modern board, it should be able to handle 5 MAC 250+ and 5 iCues. What gives?
This is way beyond the standard ION "4 seconds to Live screen" wait. This is hitting <clear> four or five times before it responds and actually clears something.
I would suggest saving the show, exiting to the Shell, and performing a Deep Clear.
If that doesn't fix it, probably time to call for support - there may be something else going on...
