How to do sequence

Dear all

I'm new user for the ion console  i have 12 light cyclorama and i want to sequence for those light another word what i should do in my console to make one light one and the second off

Fadi, your best option is to use the step-based effects editor, as this provides on/off behavior on a per channel (or group of channel) basis, rather than progressive behavior, which is what the absolute and relative effects do.

Double hit the effect key.  This brings up the effect editor.  Define an effect number and specify "step-based".  You'll then see softkeys that allow you to create steps, assign channels, provide fade in/dwell/fade out time, as well as step time, to trigger the next step.  Note that the arrow keys can be used to move around within the table, and you can select a number of steps to modify the behavior at the same time.

When the effect has been created, to apply from live, just say "recall from" effect n enter.  The effect will run until:

It times out (based on the duration applied in the effect itself).

You provide those channels another value or

You stop the effect - easiest done from Ion by [Effect] [n] [at] [Enter]
