&lt;p&gt;I remember in the past being able to have an active (focus) effect, change the rate to &amp;quot;0&amp;quot; (freezing the fixtures in their position), record that into a new cue, then restore the original rate and have the effect resume. I attempted this yesterday, and could not get the rate to stick with a value of &amp;quot;0&amp;quot;, it always recorded as 1 (so the lights don&amp;#39;t actually stop moving).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I think this is a software thing, as I&amp;#39;m pretty sure this used to work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, any way we could get the &amp;quot;min&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;max&amp;quot; buttons on IRIS to control the Min/Mix iris size for the current mode? They don&amp;#39;t seem to do anything right now (fixtures are Mac700 Spot).&lt;/p&gt;
