To step through cues in time but without follow/hang times (for cueing), record as a macro:

[live] [go to cue] [next] [time] [enter]

If you build a custom scroll for your scroller encoder, you can use the Color Picker to choose frames. Just pick any point on the spectrum and it will take you to the nearest match on your gel string.

The ability to sneak subs is in the upcoming 1.5 release. That command will work with home as well.

If you type sub 1 thru home enter you will get all subs. You just leave out the final sub number.

Did you know that you can home your subs? [Sub] [1] [thru] [9] [home] [enter] - will set additive subs to Zero and inhibs to full.

You can Get Select Active by holding down the Select Last Key on the ION and i comes up on a Sorfkey Under the LCD Screen on the ION

Did you know that if you press [Go to Cue] [x] [enter] and that cue does not exist (you'll see an error posted on the command line) - if you press [next] or [last], the desk will post the next or last cue accordingly. You can just press [Enter] to confirm the action.

Did you also know that [Sub] [1] [thru] [Enter] will select your entire sub list. You can then press the load button of the first unmapped fader you wish to load your subs on, and they will load sequentially.

You can also assign a color, beam or focus time to certain channels. If you want to see the time moving in real time push and hold the data button.

In the current software, you can access these commands by holding down the [Select Last] key, and typing the appropriate softkey.

I may be mistaken... but shouldn't the cue numbers be reversed?

ie: [group cue (next) - group cue (current) @ <preheat>?

You could also use the preheat function as another alternative

Here's a great command sequence to preheat lamps for the next cue:

[Group] [Cue] <the current cue #> [-] [Group] [Cue] <the next cue #> [@] <preheat level>
