It never did seem to take a charge. Endless rebooting after a few minutes on.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So I reinstalled the original software and all is well. I haven&amp;#39;t found the need to use the basestation on the network so far anyway.&lt;/p&gt;

I called yesterday and they explained the problem and sent me files for downgrading the RFR to original specs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;They also explained a procedure for allowing the RFR to get a full charge running the version 2 software which seems to be working.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m having 2 issues with the replacement:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;First, On the replacement the screen seems to be brighter in some parts than others.&amp;nbsp; I would estimate that majority of the screen is running at 75% while the area where the battery indicator is and everything right below the battery are running at 100%.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I e-mailed ETC about this a week or so ago and haven&amp;#39;t heard back.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Here&amp;#39;s a very blurry picture that kind of shows the problem.&amp;nbsp; It&amp;#39;s much more noticeable in real life than the photo makes it look.&lt;/p&gt;
