I have used CAT5 Baluns such as these with good success to send USB long distances. I have not had reason to try with SmartSoft, but see no reason why it shouldn't work.

I want to use PC except the room with SmartFade and to perform operation.
I want to extend a USB cable to the room.

The USB standard defines the cable length and the maximum number of hubs you can place between - I believe it's 5 hubs.

USB extenders are not part of the USB specification, and thus may or may not work.

ETC therefore can't recommend any such devices, but some users may have experience with some specific units.

What are you trying to do? We may be able to suggest some other ways to get the same outcome.

To what extent can the length of USB which connects PC with SMARTFADE be lengthened at the maximum?

By the standard of USB, it is 5m.
Isn't there any person who used using the USB repeater etc.?
