Does anyone know which X-keys model works the best for the Ion or do they all pretty much work the same? I'm leaning towards the X-Keys stick or the X-Keys desktop...any advice?

I have both and they work just fine.   I use my Desktop for working on the off-line software and with my laptop while connect as a client to they EOS/ION network.  I keep my Stick with the ION.  I have programed the buttons as Macro 101 thru 115 and Macro 201 thru 215 ( using the 16th button as the Layer function for the x-keys) .  The Desktop is great for Off-line / Client work; it speeds things up. Get what is going to make you life easer.  I have even looked into getting a 2nd Desktop for Hog PC, because I've been doing a lot of Hog to EOS / ION reprogramming.  If I get a chance I'll post a photo of my x-keys layout. But if you do a search on the Forums for X-Keys you should fine some photos and other info on how people have them set up.  Make sure when you get you x-keys to program them in Hardware mode.  X-keys website and I think a search on the Forums will tell you how to do it.   Have Fun.

I'd go for the X-keys pro. I had one hooked up to my RVI and I was able to map many of the keys 1-to-1. Some of the others you have to kinda make up where you want, but it also depends on what you're doing with it.

X-Keys Pro for sure.  If you want to do a lot of offline or client work, keyboard shortcuts are a pain.  ETC provides already built keycaps for ION/EOS, but it's easy to make your own.
