NEED HELP - Quick Expression Offline Question

So I just built an entire show in Expression Offline editor thinking that the console the theatre has is an Express 48/96. I just found out that they actually have an Express 125.

The file is still the same and should be able to go into that console fine right?

Is the only difference that now I'll have more channels once I get to the console?

Would it have worked if I was going backwards from say a 72/144 offline to a 24/48 console in the space? Would the system just ignore the extraneous channels?

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Hi,

Yes the file formats are all the same, so you should have no problem.  It works both ways, but if you read a show into a console with fewer submasters or channels it will ignore the extra data.

Thanks,

Ann

Be Warned!!   If you make changes to the show on the smaller board, and then save them......all of the ignored channels' info will be gone forever!!!
