I was trying to use an ION running 1.91 and the client software 1.91 on a laptop without a dongle, for mirror mode purposes.  That way the stage manager/cue caller backstage could watch the cue list.  However, as soon as I started up my Iphone app to control the ION for the show- the client software would show that the ION went offline and would not connect.  Under networking, I could see the console in yellow- but the console had a red line thru it.  Is this normal?  Can you not run IRFR using playback to run the cue list and run a pc in mirror mode?

Thanks,

Brian

That's an interesting question -- make sure that the IP settings of all the devices, particularly the iPhone and the PC are not conflicting.   If I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying that the Ion stays online, but you are unable to connect both devices to it?

EDIT:  Whoops, didn't mean to suggest this as answer.  Internet was lagging a bit... :)

Thanks Hans.  That appeared to be the problem.  I had the IP address of the computer set to obtain IP address automatically.  When I changed it to a static IP address within the 10.101 range used for the ION, all works well.  Thanks for the advice.

Thanks,

Brian
