WTP being: What The Precedence?
An interesting problem, that I have failed to replicate, occurred a couple of days ago whilst plotting a show.
I had several simple submasters recorded. Let's say, for sake of argument, that each submaster controls a handful of dimmers.
I had a previously recorded state in live playback and wanted to alter levels. To set levels, I tried to use the submasters - but nothing happened until I reached a fairly high level, at which point the channels suddenly jumped to a high level. After this point, the channels continued to fade up to 100%.
In terms of computer programming, it is as if the desk had a value stored in the style of HTP. In this situation, the submaster won't do anything until it becomes higher than the stored value.
In one instance, a channel was at zero in live but the submaster did nothing until about 30%. The submaster caused the channel to jump to 30% and then continue fading up.
Running the latest release, has anyone had similar problems?
Tonight, my desk behaved perfectly, until my trainee stepped on the power cable and pulled the plug out from the socket!
