I am trying to put together a custom gobo wheel with the gobos I have loaded into my movers.  In the ion gobo library under "martin" there are only 14 gobos under "catalogue".  I could find "best effort matches" under rosco or apollo but I was kinda disappointed at how few of the marting gobos are there.  Am I looking in the wrong place?

I wonder it you could copy the gobo image files from lightjockey and load them in.  then you would have a perfect match for the gobos.

Thanks Candymanjl.  Unfortunately i don't have light jockey and I don't know how to "load in" gobos into the ION console.  Is there a way to pull gobos off of Martin's website and add them into the ION library?  I was thinking that since Martin is a fairly common mover that someone from ETC might chime in with some advice.

Hi there-

Unfortunately, it's not yet possible to load custom/other gobos into Ion, but that functionality is on the list. In the meantime, it's probably best to find a similar gobo in the existing library.

you can download lightjockey for free from Martin's site since without the USB DMX hardware it's not really functional.  then they have folders with all the gobo images.  but until it's even an option in the Ion software I guess it doesn't really matter.  I'm sure somewhere in there there's something similar enough.
